“The biggest challenge that I had in choosing a mentor for Tatum was getting someone who could touch her artist soul and not just give her a brush, paints and a place to work. I chose Ilisa because of her whimsical nature and wonderful unstructured style of using her materials. The experience for Tatum has been learning to think outside the box and challenging the normal. Ilisa is not only a teacher but a friend who cares about her students.”Kris Peebles
“Katlyn was skeptical at first and actually didn’t want to come but she thoroughly enjoyed herself to point she wants to explore here art abilities more with you! I don’t know what you did or said, but THANK YOU! She is so involved in sports that she forgets she has other talents and abilities. We are so excited because this actually brings out a different piece of her, the piece that likes to explore things.”Stephanie Pennell
